Finance Directorate

The Directorate of Finance is one of the non-academic directorates in the university. It operates under the office of Vice Chancellor-Planning, Finance and Administration (VC-PFA). It principally deals with accounting and financial management.

The directorate has two main units. These units are Management Accounting and Financial Accounting. The Management Accounting unit is comprised of four sections dedicated to perform some functions. The functions are preparation of financial reports for both internal and external use; payroll; bank reconciliation; and fixed asset register. On the other hand, The Financial Accounting unit is comprised of three sections. These sections are revenue, expenditure and cash section. The units are described below in details:
