All students are eligible to medical care to all health service centers and hospitals which are accredited by the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) upon presentation of NHIF cards. The University has a dispensary where students can access health services. The services offered include medical consultation, laboratory services, wound dispensing, and life skills. The complicated health problems are referred to Mbeya Referral Hospital and Mbeya Zonal Referral Hospital.
