Welcome to the Center for Virtual and Continuing Education of Mbeya University of Science and Technology. The center consists of two departments: Virtual Education Department and Continuing Education Department. There are two units in each department. In Virtual Education Department there is a unit for online non degree programmes and a unit for online degree programmes. Whereas in Continuing Education Department there is a unit for face to face short courses at Campus and a unit for educational centers. The center for Virtual and continuing education is the best place for educational development. The center is offering non-degree educational Certificate, virtual education degree and non-degree programmes to be offered soon. The courses are offered through face-to-face sessions and distance education mode. With this center, it is possible for a learner to learn a specific topic of education and be competent in that area of a discipline. It is also possible for a learner to attend certain courses while working.

The center for Virtual and continuing education also conducts different types of Language training, such as Chinese language.

The center for Virtual and Continuing Education does conduct sensitization campaign annually by visiting secondary schools or by inviting secondary school students at MUST to sensitize and encourage female students as well as male students to opt for science subjects at secondary school level. With more Scientists, Technologists and Engineers; Mbeya University of Science and Technology helps to move our Country to the Industrialized World.
