The university take credits at nanenane exhibitions 2020

Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) participated in 2020 Agricultural Exhibitions (Nanenane) and emerged the third winner in the category of college and universities.

A week-long Agricultural Exhibitions with the motto, For Agricultural Development, Livestock and Fisheries Choose the Best Leaders 2020brought together farmers and other agricultural stakeholders, universities and research institutes to showcase products, technologies and ideas concerning the agricultural sector. MUST was among Higher Learning Institutions (HLI)  that participated in the 2020 Agricultural Exhibitions held at John Mwakangale grounds in Mbeya City. The ideas and projects showcased by MUST include technologies incubated by the University’s Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITT) and projects carried out by the University’s MCB Company Limited.

MUST was applauded for showcasing a number of outstanding innovations and was advised to advertise technologies innovated by students and staff.

The opening ceremony was officiated by Minister for Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development, Hon. William Lukuvi, whereas the official closing ceremony was done by Hon. Dr. Tulia Ackson the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania on 8th August 2020.
