The Chancellor of Mbeya University of Science and Technology and the former President of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, Hon. Dr. Amani Abeid Karume advised MUST graduates to use the knowledge acquired to solve various problems that affect their communities and the country as a whole.

Hon. Dr. Amani Abeid Karume made this statement while officiating at the 11th graduation ceremony of Mbeya University of Science and Technology, convened on 8th December 2023 at the Main Campus on the Dr. Magufuli Library grounds.

Prof. Aloys Mvuma, Vice Chancellor of the Mbeya University of Science and Technology, on his part, stated that the University was proceeding with the implementation of the Higher Education for Economic Transformation Project (HEET) whereby 85 employees have benefited from HEET scholarships and have undertaken further studies domestically and overseas.

During the Graduation Ceremony, 1978 students were awarded certificates whereby 540 were female and 1438 were male.
