CRDB bank supports government efforts on implementation of apprenticeship programme

CRDB Bank has sponsored the implementation of the apprenticeship programme for apprentice students at Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) where it has provided various safety facilities including 100 helmets and 100 heavy-duty gloves to support the Government efforts to equip youth with requisite skills.

Speaking during a brief handover ceremony held at the Mbeya University of Science and Technology, CRDB Bank Mbeya Branch Manager Mr. Cornelius Msigwa said that they are major development partners in the Country and have been working closely with the Government so they have decided to co-operate with the Government to fund safety gear for students studying apprenticeship programme at MUST as a sign of showing support for the efforts that Government has shown in ensuring that Tanzanian youth gain skills in various fields.

Receiving the safety equipments, the MUST Vice Chancellor Prof. Aloys Mvuma thanked CRDB Bank for the support since safety facilities are very important for the training.

Mbeya University of Science and Technology received a total of 751 students selected by the Government to join apprenticeship programmes in 15 disciplines.
