This Unit is responsible to supervise all student activities within various student organizations under the support of the Directorate of Students’ Affairs. The purpose of this unit is to offer guidance to Mbeya University of Science and Technology Student Organization (MUSTSO) as well as leaders of Student Associations/clubs and their members. These activities are conducted in accordance with the Organisation Constitution, Student By-Laws and Law of the Land where the two tools is silent on some issues.

FUNCTIONS

• Strengthening leadership of student organizations
• Encouraging female students to participate in student’s leadership
• Overseeing student constitutional activities
• Initiating to resolve misunderstanding among students and student organization leaders
• Supervising MUSTSO Elections and powers transition
• Overseeing student’s worship activities
• Monitoring student’s organization funds
