Admission into the programme is open to applicants who meet any of the following qualifications:

Possession of a Certificate of Ordinary Secondary Education (Form Four) with at least four passes at grade D; 

                                                                 OR

A Certificate in Business Administration or other related qualifications; an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (Form Six) with at least one principal pass and one subsidiary pass; 

                                                                  OR

An NVA Level 3 certificate, ATEC I (NBAA), or Foundation Stage I (PSPTB/NBMM); or successful completion of a foundation course from the Open University of Tanzania 

Upon completion, graduates will possess a comprehensive understanding of business accounting, finance, and management procedures. They will be equipped with practical skills in problem-solving, financial management, and the use of ICT and accounting software for maintaining records and preparing statements. The program develops strong communication, entrepreneurial, and ethical decision-making abilities. Graduates will be capable of applying business theories to real-world problems, preparing professional reports, and providing customer care. Ultimately, they will be prepared to start their own enterprise or work independently across various business disciplines such as marketing, law, economics, and supply chain management. 

At the beginning of their programme of study, students will be provided with an assessment plan outlining the regulations governing their evaluation. Coursework may be delivered either face-to-face or online through the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS). Continuous assessment, which carries a weight of 50% of the total marks, will include at least two tests and one assignment. The remaining 50% of the marks will be derived from the end-of-semester examinations, ensuring a balanced assessment of both ongoing performance and final achievement
