Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with a pass in at least four (4) non-Religious subjects,   three   of which   must be Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

OR

Possession  of  Certificate  of  Secondary  Education  Examination  (CSEE)  from  Technical Secondary  Schools with a pass in at least four (4) non-Religious subjects, three of which must be Mathematics, Engineering Science, Chemistry and any one of the following subjects: Architectural Drafting/Building Construction, Electrical  Engineering Science/Electrical Drafting, Workshop Technology/Mechanical Drafting.

OR

Possession  of Certificate of Secondary  Education  Examination (CSEE) with a pass in at least four (4)  non-Religious  subjects,  two  must  be  among  the  following  subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with possession  of TRADE TEST GRADE  I / NVA LEVEL III issued by VETA.

Graduates who go through the curriculum will be able to:-

• Solve basic practical engineering problems using mechanical and automotive engineering concepts and principles
• Implement basic repair and maintenance using mechanical and automotive engineering concepts and principles
• Apply basic mechanical, electric engineering and principles to solve technical problems.
• Demonstrate mechanical or automotive engineering knowledge and skills in traditional and modern technology.
• Apply advanced mathematical, communication skills, physical science principles and entrepreneurship to manage engineering skills.
• Solve problems related to design, energy and machine processes
• Solve machinery problems using concepts and principles of electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering
• Implement maintenance of machines and project management
• Apply advanced mathematics, physical science principles and entrepreneurship skills to solve engineering and technological problems.

The mode of assessment will 40% continuous assessment and 60% final examination

For the practical module 50% continuous assessment and 50% for final examination
