The philosophy behind the development of this programme is geared to wards producing innovative, creative and flexible graduates. It is expected that the graduates from this programme will take roles involving high levels kills on food related issues (Food processing, Food quality and safety, Food storage, Policy making etc), and in addition provide leadership over a broad range of other related disciplines.
The programme is a course system and will operate under the semester structure. This will facilitate a large degree of flexibility for the graduates’ future development. It also allows the inclusion of course from other courses and development of other routes in related disciplines. Furthermore, it provides an opportunity to accommodate the desire of students to follow programme of courses particularly suited to their needs.
