Program overview

Diploma in BIOMEDICAL EQUIPMENT ENGINEERING (BEE) programme focuses on designing, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of biomedical equipments. Being multidisciplinary in nature, the programme utilizes the engineering principles from the electrical, electronics, mechanical, architecture, civil, mechatronics and computer fields together with the knowledge in mathematics and physical sciences merging with biological sciences to bring about solid foundation for building competencies in biomedical engineering. The graduates from this programme are expected to have expertise in designing, installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of biomedical equipment/devices and systems, consequently improving health services and the well being of human kind.
