OR

Possession  of  Certificate  of  Secondary  Education  Examination  (CSEE)  from  Technical Secondary  Schools with a pass in at least four (4) non-Religious subjects, three of which must be Mathematics, Engineering Science, Chemistry and any one of the following subjects: Architectural Drafting/Building Construction, Electrical  Engineering Science/Electrical Drafting, Workshop Technology/Mechanical Drafting.

OR

Possession  of Certificate of Secondary  Education  Examination (CSEE) with a pass in at least four (4) non-Religious subjects, two of which must be among the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Geography   with possession  of TRADE TEST GRADE  I / NVA LEVEL III issued by VETA.

Diploma in Architecture programme is designed to ideally produce graduates who can:

• Carry out site measurements, construct building and install sanitary facilities using construction techniques,
• Prepare drawings from architect’s sketches manually and electronically.
• Prepare design of residential building and organize/plan construction site activities.
• Apply the design principles, construction techniques   and structural concepts in creating architectural drawings manually and electronically.
•  Construct building using appropriate materials and install mechanical & electrical facilities in building.
•  Prepare drawings from architect’s sketches; use historical forms, professional practice knowledge for fieldwork training in architectural office and site works.
• Apply construction techniques and structural ideas in creating architectural drawings.
• Apply environmental conditions and settlement planning as well as Housing development in producing building/scheme/urban projects.
• Formulate the Architectural project which solve problems and meet the objectives and use the Professional practice knowledge to accomplish a good project.

The mode of assessment will be made up of 40% coursework and 60% final examination for theoretical modules and 50% coursework and 50% final examination for practical modules
