Entry Requirements to this programme will be open to candidates who have successfully completed all courses of Diploma in Electrical engineering, Posses FTC, and/or form six leavers who passed with at least two principles in Physics, Mathematics and any of the following subjects Chemistry, Geography and Biology

After completion of the degree program, Students will have;

• Knowledge base of engineering and education concerned with technical education, design, analysis and installation of electrical energy systems
• To understand the basics, theories and principles of electrical and electronics engineering
• Acquire basic knowledge in: Education Psychology, Ethics and Philosophy, Guidance and Counselling, Research Methods, Special Education, Sociology in Education, Training and Teaching
• Methods, Curriculum Development, School Management and Administration, Measurement and Evaluation and Teaching Practice.
• apply wide range of specialized skills in Planning, constructing and analyzing electrical systems
• Designing and installing electrical / electronic systems and machines.
• Communicating effectively and clearly using ICT skills and other communication media

Students shall be given at the beginning of their programme of study, a copy of the following assessment regulations, in the assessment plan:

• Test and end of semester examinations: The number, composition, nature, date and time of these shall be specified.
• Programme Assignments: The specification and date of submission shall be stated.
• Laboratory and workshop practical(s): The number, composition, nature, date and time of these shall be specified
