Applicants must hold at least a Lower Second-Class Bachelor’s degree (GPA ≥ 2.7) in Mathematics, Statistics, or an equivalent discipline from a recognised university. Alternatively, applicants with an Advanced Diploma in Mathematics with a minimum grade of B+ and at least three years of teaching experience, or a Postgraduate Diploma in Mathematics/Statistics, may be considered. International applicants must have equivalent qualifications approved by relevant authorities. 

Knowledge

Assessment is through coursework, examinations, and research. Coursework includes assignments, presentations, and tests, while semester examinations assess theoretical and applied knowledge. The second year is dedicated to research, including a Research Proposal (60 credits) and a Dissertation (60 credits), both assessed through written work and oral defence. Coursework typically contributes 50% and final examinations 50% to the course grade. Research components are graded on a pass/fail basis. Internal and external moderation ensures fairness and academic quality.
