The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department is one of the academic departments in the College of Information and Communication Technology (CoICT) at MUST. The Department has a total of sixteen (16) academic staff out of which four (04) are pursuing further studies.

Currently, the department offers two academic programmes. The programmes include:-

1. Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
2. Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication Systems

The Department also conduct various short courses on the fields of Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering as it is normally advertised through MUST website. Some of the short courses are:-

1. Basic Electronics Design and Maintenance
2. Maintenance of Power Supply Systems

• Amplifier Design and Servicing

1. Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Other customized short courses in the field of Electronics and Telecommunication can be offered based on customer’s request.

The department likewise participates on consultancy activities through MUST Consultancy Bureau (MCB), and research works in Electronics and Telecommunication fields in line with the research agenda of the university.
