The Department of Informatics belongs to the College of Information and Communication Technology, CoICT, which established in September 2019 at Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST). The Department offers both certificates programme, diploma programme, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

The Department will offer curricula that integrate scientific, ICT and engineering principles, practical laboratory and computer work, engineering design experiences culminating into projects by applying Problem Based learning approach to solve existing community challenges.
